This was our second stay in Marpessa in the last 2 years, this time with the occasion of a family member's wedding. The whole experience was excellent; the personnel were extremely helpful and efficient, assisting with various needs that arose, both through telephone communications before our stay and also during the 5 days of our stay. They booked for us hairdresser and make-up services through very good professionals on site; they showed understanding and flexibility with various arrangements in our bookings of 4 different rooms; they were polite, truly helpful and caring for any need, no matter how small. Besides their people, who are a rare asset, Marpessa remains in every other aspect the top choice for accomodation, not only for Agrinio but also in the wider area. Amidst Covid conditions, this was a hotel that really inspired an impression of cleanliness and safety. The "luxury" element also remains vivid, in both functionality (comfortable beds, pillows, quiet rooms, effective clima - especially in hot August) and in atmosphere (decoration and taste in common areas and furniture). The cuisine is also tasteful and rich in choices, both for breakfast and any other meal you might consider. All in all, a hotel that exceeds expectations and is certain to continue at top level. We shall return with every opportunity for a trip in the area. Last but not least, Agrinio can be a great base for many excursions in the wider area, which is abundant with natural beauties.
